Zelenskyy urges global parliaments to act against Russian aggression
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on November 24 addressed participants at the Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform, calling on lawmakers worldwide to actively support Ukraine and uphold international law.
“Do not stay silent, do not be passive observers of history — be participants,” Zelenskyy told the nearly 70 parliamentary delegations in attendance, Caliber.Az reports via Zelenskyy's X page.
“It is important to support Ukraine now, and I thank you for that support. It is important to support the negotiation process, and I am grateful for every piece of advice and every bit of information we receive from European leaders.”
The Ukrainian president emphasised the importance of defending Europe’s foundational principles.
“Borders cannot be changed by force; war criminals must not escape justice; and the aggressor must pay fully for the war he started — and this is why decisions on Russian assets are essential. Please support these decisions, and above all, keep pressure on Russia,” he said.

He also condemned Russia’s ongoing military actions, noting that "Russia is still killing people. Every day. Occupied territories remain occupied. And that means Russia remains a criminal state.”
