Arestovych cites Azerbaijan's experience in breaking through Armenian defences in Second Karabakh War
Military observer and former advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovych made an interesting post on his Twitter page.
According to Caliber.Az, Arestovich urged not to panic about the lack of lightning results in the south and cited the fighting in the Second Karabakh War as an example.
"The nerves of the civilians are bad and one cannot leave them for long, of course. What's more - many of the militaries are psychologically rattled by the lack of lightning results in the south and '...heavy losses' in the offensive. 'That's it, failed.' Nothing has failed but your illusions. The Putinoids have long enough will to take Bakhmut alone for nine months. And many of our people started whining considering the fact that they couldn't get into Crimea on the first day at once.
As I recall, the Azerbaijani Army broke through the first line of Armenian defence in Karabakh in various sections for seven, nine, or twelve days at a time. There were places where it took a month to penetrate, and there were places where it didn't penetrate.
This is a prepared defence - going to it is not a joke, but a blood fight - who will break who's bones in a slaughter. Aircraft are working, our artillery is working, UAVs are working. With the level of arming and training that the AFU has, in this particular situation, there are very few other options.
1. The enemy still does not know the direction of our main strike, because it has not yet begun.
2. What is decisive is the gradual accumulation of enemy losses in manpower and equipment in a particular area.
Changes accumulate gradually and are implemented in leaps and bounds.
We will break through everything, we will reach the operational space and we will reach the seas," Arestovych wrote.
