Trump’s son voices praise for Georgia ahead of planned Tbilisi visit

Eric Trump, son of US President Donald Trump, is set to visit Tbilisi for the groundbreaking ceremony of Trump Tower, saying Georgia deserves praise for its economic growth and the development of its ties with the West.

“I will come to Georgia very soon, when we lay the foundation, and then I will come back many more times,” the US president’s son said in an interview with Rustavi 2.

He also highlighted Georgia’s economic growth and the country’s developing relations with the West.

“You are [Georgia] doing an absolutely incredible job because the economic results speak for themselves,” Eric Trump noted.

The 280-meter tower is set to become the tallest building in Tbilisi. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2031.
