First Armenian Hayasat-1 satellite launched into space

SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket, launched from Vandenberg airfield in the United States, has successfully put the first Armenian Hayasat-1 satellite into orbit.

The launch was broadcast live on its YouTube channel by Bazoomq Space Research Laboratory, which developed the satellite, TASS reported.

Hayasat-1 is labeled "Armenia in Space for Science." The satellite weighing about one kilogram will make a revolution around the Earth every 90 minutes. The apparatus is equipped with sensors measuring light intensity, temperature of the most important parts of various modules, as well as inertial sensors measuring orientation changes.
