Ukraine’s Boryspil airport to be re-opened - official
Ukraine’s Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv Region will soon be reopened and will be able to send and receive planes. This statement was made by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, the news portal Ukraina.ru quotes.
“I am sure: symbolic boarding passes... will soon become real,” he said at a meeting with representatives of the diplomatic corps at Boryspil airport.
According to Ermak, the security of the facility is ensured thanks to the defense forces of the republic and the assistance of allied states.
As Andriy Sybiha, deputy head of the office of the Ukrainian president, noted, Boryspil was the first facility that was closed after the start of the special operation, and it is destined to be opened first when “the situation allows”.
