"Return Belarus' money": Lukashenko lays down condition for US dialogue

Belarus is ready to engage with the United States on more substantive issues once its funds currently held in the US are returned, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has said.

Lukashenko made the remarks while commenting on the prospects for further dialogue between Minsk and Washington, BelTA reports.

He stressed that the return of Belarusian funds would be a prerequisite for moving towards discussions on broader and more significant issues between the two countries.
