Iraq, Saudi Arabia eye regional developments in phone call

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Mohammed Hussein held a telephone conversation with his Saudi Arabian counterpart Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud to discuss regional developments and issues of mutual interest, Iraq’s Foreign Ministry said.

The two ministers stressed the importance of maintaining coordination and regular consultations between Baghdad and Riyadh, with a focus on strengthening regional security and stability, Caliber.Az reports. 

The sides also discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, according to the ministry.
