Biden calls it crazy to cut off support for Ukraine

US President Joe Biden has said that it would be "absolute madness" for the United States not to agree on new aid to Ukraine.

"Failure to support Ukraine is absolute madness. It's against the interests of the United States. It's just wrong," Gazeta.Ru quotes Biden as saying.

It was earlier reported that US President Joe Biden will hold a virtual meeting with the leaders of the G7 amid uncertainty about the new assistance of the States to Ukraine.

In October, the Washington administration submitted a request for supplemental budget appropriations for fiscal year 2024, mainly to help Israel and Ukraine and to counter China and Russia in the Asia-Pacific region. The total amount the executive branch wanted for this purpose under Democratic President Joe Biden is about $106 billion.
