Giorgio Armani expands collaboration with dog couture brand

16 September 2026 19:32

Italian luxury label Giorgio Armani has joined forces with a partner brand to launch a new collection of premium dog accessories.

Together with fellow Italian brand Poldo Dog Couture, the fashion house has presented its new collection for Fall 2026, Caliber.Az reports, citing fashion media outlets.

The line is the latest chapter in an ongoing collaboration focused on dog clothing. Since its inception in 2024, the joint product range has expanded season after season with new colors and patterns, creating a wardrobe that now covers multiple categories of dog accessories.

The line includes a raincoat, sweater, harness, waste-bag holder and travel mat. Additional accessories in Armani’s signature blue include a collar, leash and portable bowl. All pieces can be combined with items from previous collections.

The collection is designed for dogs of all breeds and sizes. It is already available at boutiques across Europe, the US and Asia, as well as online.

Other notable luxury fashion brands have also embraced the expansion into pet collections, with Spanish Balenciaga and French Celine, as well as fellow Italian brands Fendi and Dolce&Gabbana, having designed capsule collections for pets.

The legendary Italian fashion brand is still reeling from the death of its owner and founder, Giorgio Armani, who died in September 2025 at the age of 91.

The designer was seen as a pioneer in many ways, elevating red-carpet fashion to what it is today. He was also the first designer to ban underweight models from the runway following the death of model Ana Carolina Reston from anorexia nervosa in 2006.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also paid tribute, saying: “With his elegance, sobriety, and creativity, he was able to bring lustre to Italian fashion and inspire the entire world.

“An icon, a tireless worker, a symbol of the best of Italy. Thank you for everything.”
