Minister: Italian companies actively engage in restoration of Azerbaijan's liberated lands

Azerbaijani Energy Minister Perviz Shahbazov has said that Azerbaijan is Italy's largest trade partner in the South Caucasus.

The minister noted that the historical friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries has reached the highest level in all spheres, Report informs.

"Italy is one of the main trade partners of Azerbaijan. Last year, the trade turnover between the two countries totalled $15.6 billion. The effective participation of Italian companies in the reconstruction of the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation should be particularly emphasised. Also, the presidency of our countries in the G7 and COP29 opens new opportunities for cooperation," the minister emphasised.
