Russia accuses US of missile deployment in Germany to distract from Biden's challenges
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has accused the United States of strategically deploying medium-range and shorter-range missiles in Germany as a diversionary tactic to bolster President Joe Biden's image amidst internal scrutiny and criticism.
Zakharova asserted that the recent missile deployment is part of a broader effort by Washington to mitigate the fallout from Biden's perceived failures and controversies, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
She claimed that the move aims to redirect public attention away from concerns raised about Biden's physical condition and his handling of debates, which she described as causing nationwide apprehension in the United States.
"A set of measures is being taken by Washington to save its liberal Democrat candidate Biden after a cycle of failed debates, after the whole country shuddered in horror and began to ask questions: how did it happen, how was the US information policy so constructed that the entire state, civil society and the US population had no idea about Biden's physical condition," Zakharova stated.
