Spain offers to host Eurovision 2023 instead of Ukraine

Spain is ready to host the international Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 if Ukraine is unable to do so.

The Communications Director of the Spanish state television and radio company RTVE, Maria Eisagirre, made the corresponding statement on May 15, TASS reports.

“RTVE offers to support Ukraine in everything in this organization [of next year's contest], and in case they need it, we would be ready to give shelter to the next Eurovision,” the TV and radio broadcaster reported, quoting Eisagirre.

At the 66th song contest in Turin, the Ukrainian Kalush Orchestra group won with the song Stefania. The second place went to the United Kingdom, and the third - to Spain.
