Total of 344 children die in Ukraine since start of Russia's invasion

    Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office has reported the death of 344 children in Ukraine since the start of the Russian armed aggression.

    "As of the morning of July 2, 2022, more than 984 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of the juvenile prosecutors, 344 children were killed and more than 640 injured," the report said, according to Ukrinform.

    The report also revealed that these figures are not final, since work on the sufferers’ identification continues in places of intensive hostilities in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories of Ukraine

    According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the children were most affected in the Donetsk region - 340, Kharkiv region - 185, Kyiv region - 116, Chernihiv region - 68, Luhansk region - 61, Mykolaiv region - 53, Kherson region - 52, Zaporizhzhia region - 31.
