Armenia fails to find plane making local flight

The information went viral in Armenia that the plane that took off from Armenia’s Yerevan city did not land in Gafan city and returned to Yerevan again due to poor visibility.

“We have already written that a plane was to fly from Yerevan to Gafan on August 28 morning. We tried to find out if the flight was made at the information centre of Zvartnots airport. The airport officer said that the plane took off from Zvartnots, but it is unknown whether it landed or not. The flight lasts one hour and the airport officer assumes that the plane has landed,” Caliber.Az reports citing Armenia’s Hraparak newspaper.

According to the newspaper, the journalists again contacted the Zvartnots airport information service to ask if the plane turned back due to poor visibility or not. 

“We were informed that a plane took off from Yerevan to Gafan, but we did not receive any information whether it landed or not,” the airport officer told journalists.

Afterwards, Hraparak journalists asked the airport officer if the plane from Gafan to Yerevan, which was to fly at 11:00 (GMT+4), had already arrived or not.

“We have not received new information yet,” the airport officer said.
