Armenia must realise that there is no alternative to ethnic diversity and coexistence Statement by Western Azerbaijan Community
On November 24, 2023, the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, while responding to questions from the public, once again attempted to undermine our right of return, Western Azerbaijani Community said in a statement.
The Community said that Pashinyan misrepresented the demands of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia, portraying their desire to return to their homes as preparations for war, Caliber.Az reports.
"Apparently, the Prime Minister of Armenia, a country that occupied Azerbaijani territories under the pretext of protecting Armenians in Karabakh, measures everything by his own standards. In contrast to Armenia's policy of mono-ethnicity, the state and society of Azerbaijan regard ethnic diversity as a paramount value.
The Armenian government should abandon its racist, ethnically exclusive policies, embrace the principles of coexistence and ethnic diversity, and enable the safe and dignified return of expelled Azerbaijanis to Armenia," the statement reads.
