Armenian PM heads to Albania for European Political Community summit
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has departed for a working visit to Albania to take part in the sixth summit of the European Political Community.
During his stay in Tirana, Pashinyan is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings with international partners, his press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan confirmed, according to Caliber.Az.
The summit, scheduled for May 16, will bring together leaders from across the continent under the theme “New Europe in a New World: Unity – Cooperation – Joint Action.”
The gathering will open with a plenary session focused on security and a shared vision for Europe's future. Discussions will centre around four main topics: democratic security and resilience, economic security and competitiveness, migration and youth empowerment, and Europe's strategic role in a changing global landscape.
Separately, Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan will travel to Tehran on May 16 for a working visit, where he will participate in the Tehran Dialogue 2025 forum and engage in scheduled meetings with Iranian officials.
