Iran rejects talks with US on regional allies, missile program

Iran has ruled out any negotiations with the United States concerning its regional allies, reaffirming its long-standing position that such issues are not open for discussion, a senior Iranian source told TASS.

"Iran has made it clear that it will not negotiate over its regional allies," the source said.

The unnamed official also stressed that Tehran has no intention of abandoning its missile program and remains committed to supporting its partners across the region.

According to the source, Iran will not permit the weakening or collapse of its regional allies, despite ongoing international pressure.

Commenting on recent European criticism of Iran's missile activities, the source accused Western countries of attempting to increase pressure on Tehran through coordinated political measures.

"The latest outcry from Europeans over Iran's ballistic missiles is seen by Tehran as a tactic aimed at exerting pressure on Iran within the framework of a US-EU scheme designed to achieve what they perceive as the 'neutralization' of Iran," the source said.
