Armenian PM, Russian president to discuss diverse agenda in upcoming meeting
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has outlined the upcoming agenda of his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, scheduled for May 8.
"The agenda with Russia is very diverse. And you know that during this period a lot of issues have accumulated, some of them have been raised. And we never considered that we were raising issues just to raise issues. We believed that we were doing it to remove negative nuances from the two countries' friendly relations," Pashinyan said, Caliber.Az reports.
The entire agenda of multilateral and bilateral relations, he said, will be the subject of discussion. Details will be presented after the meeting.
Earlier, Russian presidential aide for international affairs Yury Ushakov said that the Kremlin attaches great importance to the upcoming meeting between Putin and Pashinyan on 8 May, which will help dot the i's in bilateral relations.
The meeting will take place on the margins of the EAEU jubilee summit to be held in Moscow under the chairmanship of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
