Russia intercepts Ukrainian drones across multiple regions including Belgorod, Bryansk
The Russian Defence Ministry has said that 21 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type were destroyed via air defence systems on October 6.
"Throughout the night, several attempts by the Kyiv regime to conduct terrorist attacks using aircraft-type UAVs against targets in the Russian Federation were thwarted. Twelve UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, while six were destroyed over Kursk region. One UAV was downed over each of the regions, namely, Belgorod, Bryansk, and Voronezh," the ministry stated, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Ukrainian militants are attempting to strike Russian territories amid the ongoing special operation in Donbas, which was announced on February 24, 2022. This decision came in response to escalating tension in the region due to Ukrainian forces’ shelling.
