07 October 2024 21:12
Both Baku and Yerevan have voiced their dissatisfaction with the European Union's mission aimed at resolving the conflict in Armenia, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.
Ushakov criticized the EU's increasing involvement in the region, stating that the mission has become a source of frustration for the parties involved in the negotiation process, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.
He highlighted that the presence of EU diplomats in Armenia has expanded significantly, rising from 138 to 210 personnel, with plans to further increase this number to 600.
"The activities of the EU mission in Armenia are not welcomed either. I want to say that this mission is growing, unfortunately," Ushakov remarked.
