Armenian PM, US Caucasus adviser discuss regional security
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US State Department's Senior Adviser for Caucasus Negotiations Philip Reeker have met to discuss the South Caucasus regional security.
The statement came from the Armenian government press service, Caliber.Az reports, quoting the Armenian media.
"The interlocutors discussed the Karabakh issue. In addition, the sides touched upon the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as stability and security in the region. Pashinyan and Reeker also discussed the development of Armenian-American relations," the report adds.
Reeker had previously visited Baku, then Tbilisi, from where he arrived in Yerevan. Following his visit to Baku, he published a video message in which he stated that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken believes in the possibility of peace in the South Caucasus, which is why he asked Reeker to visit the region "important for the United States".
