Armenia, Kansas National Guard discuss military partnership

Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defence of Armenia and Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, has met a delegation led by Brigadier General Paul Schneider, commander of the Kansas National Guard of the United States, local media reports, the country's Ministry of Defence.

The meeting focused on cooperation and partnership between the Armenian Armed Forces and the Kansas National Guard.

According to the ministry, the discussions covered the training of professional noncommissioned officers, the Eagle Partner military exercises and other areas of military cooperation.

The two sides positively assessed the level of cooperation established between the Armenian Armed Forces and the Kansas National Guard, while emphasising its continued development and the potential to expand collaboration into additional areas.
