Armenian prime minister, MP have verbal altercation in parliament
The Armenian prime minister and an MP have verbal altercation in the parliament.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and son of the Armenian second president, MP from the Hayastan faction Levon Kocharyan had a verbal altercation in the meeting room, Caliber.Az reports citing the Armenian media.
During the governmental meeting, while addressing the prime minister, Kocharyan asked whether he thought that his security policy was doomed to failure.
Moreover, Kocharyan’s son addressed the prime minister on a first-name basis, which caused an emotional reaction among members of the ruling party.
Pashinyan, who came to the podium, advised his opponent to read out his questions better and more clearly in the future.
“I would like to remind you that you are not at a school event. You must be able to behave more correctly in the National Assembly, otherwise you will have a reason to remember where you are,” he told Kocharyan.
