An attempt to kidnap the son of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Ashot, has been made in Yerevan.
Pashinyan's family newspaper Haykakan Zhamanak writes that according to preliminary information, the participants of the failed kidnapping are members of the "Call of Sons" NGO, founded by parents of Armenian servicemen killed in the 44-day Second Karabakh War, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian Times.
"They forced Ashot Pashinyan to get into a car, but when the car stopped he managed to jump out, after which Pashinyan was hit by a car from the same organisation that was following behind," the newspaper wrote.
As reported, the attempted kidnapping involved the father of the deceased Armenian soldier, social activist Garik Galeyan.
