Azerbaijan launches self-employment programme in Lachin

Work is underway to support the self-employment of residents resettled in the Lachin district under the Great Return programme, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection told Caliber.Az.

During the meetings of representatives of the State Employment Agency with families who moved to Lachin, their possibility to participate in the self-employment programme is assessed.

At the initial stage, 35 people have registered to participate in the self-employment programme. Business trainings will be organised for them and they will be informed about entrepreneurship and relevant support mechanisms.

After the training, the programme participants will be provided with assets to create small businesses in agriculture, production and services within the programme.
