Azerbaijan, Pakistan FMs discuss bilateral agenda and global developments UPDATED
A phone conversation took place between Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, and Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the call on 21 February 2026, the sides discussed issues arising from partnership relations between the two countries, opportunities to expand the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda, and regional and international security matters of mutual interest, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
The conversation also included an exchange of views on recent developments in the Middle East, matters arising from the first session of the Board of Peace in Washington, and other topics of shared concern.

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, while on a visit to London.
The two ministers discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, reaffirming the strong partnership and fraternal ties between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports, citing Pakistani Foreign Ministry's X account.
The conversation also covered key regional and international developments. In particular, the sides exchanged views on the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace held in Washington, D.C., which was attended by both foreign ministers.
