Azerbaijan’s premier defence exhibition to mark its 5th anniversary ADEX 2024

In 2024, the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX) will mark its 5th anniversary, cementing its status as a premier event in the defence industry.

The exhibition will be held from September 24 to 26 at the Baku Expo Center, coinciding with the 14th International Exhibition on Internal Security, Protection, and Rescue Equipment, Securex Caspian, the organisers of the fair told Caliber.Az.

Since its inception in 2014, ADEX has evolved into a major biennial event, showcasing the latest advancements in military technology and defense. This year, the exhibition celebrates a decade of successful operations, despite marking its 5th anniversary. Over the years, ADEX has hosted numerous companies and approximately 200 official delegations from over 50 countries, attracting more than 30,000 visitors.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has consistently attended the exhibition and sent a welcoming letter to participants and guests, reflecting the high status and trust placed in the event. This year’s milestone will be celebrated with a series of special events designed to highlight ADEX’s significance in the defense sector.

The exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan and supported by the Ministry of Defense, serves as a crucial platform for presenting cutting-edge technologies, fostering international collaboration, and advancing the country’s defense industry.

Gold sponsors for ADEX include Baykar and Israel Aerospace Industries, with Barzan Holdings serving as the bronze sponsor. To commemorate the 5th anniversary, a special edition of the ADEX News newspaper will be released, featuring updates on new innovations, interviews with high-profile guests, and insights from industry experts.
