The President's speech, delivered on May 10 during a meeting with the first residents resettled in Shusha, emphasized critical objectives for the Azerbaijani army. Hasanov stressed the importance of disseminating these directives throughout the military ranks and issued relevant instructions accordingly.

Additionally, the meeting addressed the presidential decree regarding the dismissal of Deputy Minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov, due to reaching the age limit for military service. Hasanov underscored President Aliyev's commendation of the Air Force's contributions during the Patriotic War and other operations, as well as the overall performance of the Azerbaijani Army branches.

Emphasizing recent efforts to bolster the Air Force's capabilities and enhance military potential in alignment with state requirements, Minister Hasanov highlighted the acquisition of new aviation assets and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as the training of skilled personnel, notably pilots.

The Ministry acknowledged Lieutenant General Tahirov for his years of exemplary service and significant contributions to Azerbaijan's defence and territorial integrity.
