Azerbaijani, Pakistani officials discuss expanded economic cooperation
Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said he held talks in Islamabad with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, focusing on ways to deepen bilateral economic ties.
Jabbarov, who is visiting Pakistan as part of an official delegation, wrote on X that the meeting covered prospects for strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the minister, both sides discussed opportunities to expand joint efforts in trade, energy, industry, transit, tourism, and other priority areas.
The talks come as Azerbaijan and Pakistan continue to broaden their strategic partnership, with economic collaboration increasingly complementing long-standing political and defence ties.
Both governments have expressed interest in boosting connectivity and investment flows as part of wider regional initiatives.
