Azerbaijani paralympic athlete wins silver in Germany

A member of the Paralympic shooting team of Azerbaijan, Aybeniz Babayeva, has successfully performed at the international tournament in Hannover, Germany.

As azerisport.com reports, she came in at number two in 10-metre (P2) air pistol shooting to grab a silver medal.

Another athlete of the team Azerbaijan, Elena Taranova, also took part in the tournament. She claimed the 5th spot in the final ranking.

The tournament is licensed for participation in the World Championship in Lima (Peru), which is scheduled for September 17-29 this year.
