Formula 1 unveils 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix date: September 25–27 in Baku PHOTO
Formula 1 has officially unveiled its 2026 race calendar, confirming that the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place in Baku from September 25 to 27, 2026, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Formula 1 official website.
The date was announced as part of the championship’s newly released schedule, which once again features the Azerbaijani capital among the key stops on the global racing circuit.
Baku’s high-speed city track, winding through both the modern and historic heart of the city along the Caspian coastline, has earned a reputation for producing some of Formula 1’s most unpredictable and exciting races. The 2026 edition is expected to draw significant international attention and tourism to Azerbaijan.
For the record, the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is already set to run from September 19–21, 2025, as Round 17 of the Formula 1 season. The event will return to the iconic Baku City Circuit, celebrated for its dramatic combination of tight corners and long straights, providing a unique challenge for drivers and teams alike.
