Erdoğan delighted by Azerbaijani equestrian team's performance at Istanbul ethnosport festival PHOTO / VIDEO

On May 24, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan personally watched the performance of the Azerbaijani team at the 7th International Ethnosport Cultural Festival in Istanbul.

The Azerbaijani participants showcased a spectacular large-scale performance titled “Zafar” (Victory).

According to the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan, the show attracted great interest from spectators and guests of the event, including Türkiye's top leadership, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The show, featuring 130 members of the delegation and 20 Karabakh horses, showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic world, equestrian traditions, horseback riding artistry, and the national spirit of Azerbaijan. At the end of the performance, the Turkish president gave the performers a standing ovation.

The next performance by the Azerbaijani delegation is scheduled for May 25 and will serve as the final highlight of the festival, which has brought together Turkic peoples in a spirit of unity and brotherhood.
