Bahrain claims air defences intercepted Iranian missiles, drones

Bahrain's air defence systems successfully intercepted and destroyed several Iranian missiles and drones over the kingdom, the country's armed forces stated.

According to a statement published by the Bahraini military on X, the country's air defences detected and neutralized multiple aerial threats, preventing them from reaching their intended targets, Caliber.Az reports.

"Three missiles and several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were intercepted and destroyed" in the skies over the kingdom, the armed forces said.
