Bunte magazine exposes German Vice Chancellor's family ties to Hitler's regime
According to Bunte magazine, two relatives of German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck had ties to Hitler's Germany.
It is reported that Habeck's great-grandfather, Walter Granzow, was an associate of Adolf Hitler and a friend of Joseph Goebbels. After World War II, Granzow was convicted as a war criminal.
Additionally, Habeck's grandfather, Kurt Gantzow, served as an Obersturmführer in the SA (Storm Troops) during the Third Reich, as detailed by Bunte.
Earlier, Bunte reported that the grandfather of Germany's current Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, Waldemar Baerbock, was an officer in the Wehrmacht during World War II. Baerbock Sr. was noted for his ideological alignment with National Socialism, including reading Adolf Hitler's works, and received the Nazi Cross of Military Merit with swords in 1944.
The German Foreign Ministry stated that these historical details were reportedly unknown to Annalena Baerbock.
