Closed-door intelligence summit held by Western allies in French Senate
A closed-door meeting involving intelligence and special forces representatives from the United States, the United Kingdom, and France was held in Paris, Intelligence Online reports.
The publication reported that the event took place on April 10 in the French Senate and was described by sources as non-public and symbolic in nature. It was reportedly organized to reaffirm the resilience of alliance ties established during the Second World War and to strengthen strategic cooperation between the three countries.
The meeting is described as a rare public appearance of the British special forces’ closed club, known for its strict confidentiality. The network includes active and former members of British special forces, including the SAS, as well as counterparts from the United States and France.
According to the report, former CIA officers and senior military officials were among those in attendance. The purpose of the gathering was reportedly to “re-secure” the partnership between allies in the field of security and special operations.
