Migrants enter Spanish enclave of Ceuta through sewers VIDEO

Footage circulating on social media allegedly shows migrants using sewer systems and tunnels to enter the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.

Spain says around 5,000 migrants remain in the region, including roughly 1,200 minors, while 141 people died attempting the crossing, Caliber.Az reports.

Earlier, on September 3, hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets across Spain over the government's handling of migration after thousands of migrants entered the Spanish exclave of Ceuta from Morocco within days.

Protesters accused Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez of failing to prevent the surge, while others called for closer European cooperation on border security.

Sanchez rejected claims that Morocco was behind the influx and defended Spanish border guards, saying they prioritised saving lives over sealing the border.
