Council of Prosecutors General of Turkic States adopts Bishkek declaration
The Bishkek Declaration was adopted in the capital of Kyrgyzstan following the 3rd meeting of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Organisations of Turkic States (OTS).
Delegations led by the Prosecutors General of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye attended the meeting, along with the Secretary General of the OTS and the Chief Counsellor of the International Association of Prosecutors, as reported by Caliber.Az via local media.
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov sent a video message to the participants of the meeting.
Azerbaijani Prosecutor-General Kamran Aliyev emphasized the importance of cooperation to ensure law and order in OTS member states, the protection of human rights and freedoms, and the fight against crime in his speech.
The meeting concluded with the adoption of the Bishkek Declaration and a decision to hold the next meeting in Uzbekistan in 2025.
