EU chief diplomat announces major step forward in Armenia visa talks VIDEO
European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, announced that the European Commission has officially approved the Action Plan on visa liberalisation with Armenia.
Kallas emphasized the significance of this development, addressing a joint press conference held in Yerevan, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.

Today, we announced a political agreement on an ambitious Partnership Agenda.

The EU top diplomat noted that when all conditions were fulfilled and the process was finalised, Armenia and the rest of Europe would become closer.
The EU High Representative underscored the significance of fostering people-to-people contacts and advancing the dialogue on visa liberalization between Armenia and the European Union. Kallas highlighted the EU’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability in the region, emphasizing the pivotal role played by the EU civilian monitoring mission in Armenia. She further noted that she had visited the mission on June 29 to gain firsthand insight into its operations.
Additionally, the EU foreign policy chief announced the signing of a framework agreement on crisis management, which will enable Armenia to actively participate in EU missions worldwide.
