EU court lifts sanctions against Russian businessman for the first time

On September 6, the European Court of General Jurisdiction ruled to lift EU sanctions against the former CEO of online retailer Ozon Alexander Shulgin, who fell under the restrictions on April 8, 2022.

The decision will come into force after the deadline for appeal expires, Kommersant reported.

This is the first time that the EU has dropped sanctions against a Russian businessman following a court ruling.
