Fire breaks out in small hotel in Türkiye's Antalya
A fire broke out in a small hotel located in the historic Kaleiçi district of Antalya, Türkiye, according to TRT.
The fire quickly spread across the roof of the building and affected several nearby structures.
City emergency services arrived at the scene, and firefighters are working to prevent the flames from spreading to surrounding homes and businesses.
Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin also visited the site of the incident.
The governor reported that the fire, which started in the hotel, spread to two additional buildings. He stated that the risk of further spread has been eliminated but the fire is not yet fully under control.
“Three hotel rooms were occupied, and the guests were immediately evacuated. Firefighters are working to bring the fire under control in the area,” Şahin said.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
No casualties have been reported.
