A fire broke out at a fuel storage facility in Russia’s Yaroslavl region following a drone attack, regional governor Mikhail Yevrayev announced.
Emergency services are working to extinguish the blaze. No casualties have been reported so far, the governor said, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Following the drone alert, a section of the M-8 highway on the outskirts of Yaroslavl toward Moscow was temporarily closed. The restrictions have since been lifted.
Russian air defence forces destroyed 249 drones over various regions during the night of June 14. Airports in Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Tambov, and Kostroma temporarily suspended operations as a precaution.
