Judiciary chief: Iran has “absolutely no trust” in US
Iran’s judiciary chief said the country’s confrontation with the United States and its allies would continue indefinitely, issuing a warning against any trust in Washington on the anniversary of last year’s 12-day war.
Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei wrote in a message published on Saturday (June 13) that Iran’s struggle “with the front of the wicked and arrogant has no end, except with the uprooting of oppression and arrogance,” Caliber.Az reports, via Iranian media.
He said the Islamic Republic had “absolutely no trust” in the United States, adding that this mistrust was based on historical experience.
Ejei also called for national unity and stressed that Iran’s armed forces remained central to what he described as the country’s deterrence capabilities following last year’s conflict.
