FM Bayramov comments on Azerbaijani student detained in Iran

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has told journalists that the Azerbaijani side is taking all necessary measures regarding the Azerbaijani student Farid Safarli detained in Iran.

"Initially, he was charged under the article of the criminal code. However, in the course of the proceedings a more lenient decision was made. Farid Safarli was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison," he said, Report informs.
