Iran says no evidence against Azerbaijan, calls it friendly Muslim neighbour
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, stated that Tehran has found no evidence linking Azerbaijan to Israel during the recent 12-day war.
Speaking to reporters, Larijani emphasised that claims circulating about Azerbaijani involvement remain unsubstantiated, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

“We had no evidence on the ground to substantiate anything. We need to speak based on documentation. People say things, but we need precise evidence to back it up. We still don’t have any evidence,” he said.
Larijani added that Azerbaijan has explicitly denied such allegations and described the country as a neighbouring, Muslim, and friendly nation with strong cultural ties to Iran.
