Bangladeshi envoy praises Azerbaijan’s proactive policy toward Asian nations

The initiatives of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev are receiving strong appreciation across Asian countries, according to Amanul Haq, Bangladesh’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia, and Turkmenistan, based in Ankara.

Speaking to domestic media, Ambassador Haq emphasised that Azerbaijan is pursuing an optimal policy toward Asian countries, a fact he personally observed during events held as part of the COP29 climate conference in Baku.

“Azerbaijan's policy towards Asian countries is expanding day by day. The initiatives put forward by President Ilham Aliyev in this direction are very positively received by the states of the continent,” the diplomat stated.

Concluding his remarks, Ambassador Haq noted that relations between Bangladesh and Azerbaijan have reached a high level and expressed confidence in the continued growth of bilateral ties.
