Georgian PM: Azerbaijan-Armenia deal — historic moment for South Caucasus
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has expressed strong support for the joint declaration of a peace agreement signed between Azerbaijan, Armenia and witnessed by the US in Washington on August 8, describing it as a historic moment for the South Caucasus region and the wider international community.
In a message posted on X, Kobakhidze congratulated US President Donald Trump, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on their successful efforts to finalise the landmark deal. The agreement, he said, marks the beginning of a new era of stability and economic development for the region, Caliber.Az reports.
