Humanoid robots replace humans at Zeekr car production facility in China
Chinese firms Zeekr and Ubtech Technology have signed an agreement to use humanoid robots to work on a car assembly line.
The android robots have been functioning on the conveyor belt for three weeks, although so far they are used only in the simplest tasks, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
The Walker S Lite series robots are working on the conveyor belt. They resemble humans in proportions. The robots can perceive the environment, interact with objects and people.
Among the advantages of this android is the ability to move steadily with a 15-kilogram box.
Before that it became known that in China began production of crossovers GAC Aion V second generation. Prices start from 130 thousand yuan.
The exterior of the car is developed by an international team of designers, who are based in Los Angeles, Milan, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The company emphasised that the GAC Aion V was inspired by the image of the Tyrannosaurus when creating the look of the GAC Aion V.
The car has a length of 4605 mm and a wheelbase of 2775 mm. The design is based on the next-generation AEP modular architecture, which has increased the interior space by 20 per cent. The crossover is equipped with ADiGO Pilot autopilot, which does not need high-precision maps to work.
