Hungarian PM commends Georgia's decision to maintain stability Amid regional tensions
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, during his visit to Tbilisi, praised the citizens of Georgia for their recent electoral choices, asserting that their decision has successfully steered the country away from the turmoil currently faced by Ukraine.
"The people of Georgia made a decision: they voted for peace, preventing their nation from becoming a second Ukraine," Orban stated, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
His remarks came following a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, where he extended his congratulations to the ruling Georgian Dream party on their victory in the parliamentary elections held on October 26.
Orban emphasized the integrity of the electoral process, declaring that it was both free and democratic, and he expressed gratitude towards the Georgian government for its peaceful approach regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
Furthermore, Orban affirmed Hungary's commitment to supporting Georgia's aspirations for European integration and enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
