Israel targets Hezbollah crossings over Litani River PHOTO / VIDEO

Overnight, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) struck a crossing over the Litani River in southern Lebanon.

Israeli authorities said the crossing was used by Hezbollah to move weapons, rockets, and launchers between northern and southern areas of the river.

The IDF stated on Telegram that the operation aimed to prevent potential attacks against Israeli civilians and reduce risks to Lebanese civilians in the area.

Hezbollah, designated as a terrorist organisation by several countries, has not publicly commented on the strikes. The IDF has indicated it will continue operations against the group in response to security concerns along Israel’s northern border.
