Iran accuses Saudi Arabia of financing domestic unrest

Vahid Jalalzadeh, head of Iran's parliamentary commission for national security and foreign policy, said that Saudi Arabia is financing unrest in Iran.

According to him, Tehran has evidence that Riyadh "provides financial assistance to this (Iran International: ed.) and other agencies and TV channels, to anti-Iranian opposition groups acting abroad, and also to separatist groups based in Iraq," Gazeta.ru reports.

He also pointed out that Saudi Arabia has financed their activities in recent years.
